| Comet's tail:
A comet's tail always points away from the sun. That's because the tail consists of melted ice from the comet that's blown away from the solar wind.

| Lightweight:
The density of Saturn is so small, that if you could put it in a giant glass of water it would've floated. The actual density of Saturn is 0.687 g/cm3 while the density of water is 0.998 g/cm3. At the equator, Saturn has a radius of 60,268 km (37,449 mi), so you will need an extremely large glass to test that.

| The biggest alcohol reserve:
Astronomers have spotted a vast cloud of alcohol in the Milky Way. The cloud measures 463 billion kilometers (288 billion miles) across and is consisted mostly of methanol. Now, methanol is not suitable for human consumption but the news is still good!

| Sun's light:
It takes a few hundred thousand years for newly made photons(light) to travel from the core of the Sun to it's surface.

| Moonquakes:
Just to let you know - earthquakes appear on the Moon too("moonquakes"). The only difference is that on the Moon the moonquakes last longer(some for about an hour) because there is no water to damp out the seismic vibrations.

Space
| The Lunar Laser Ranging Experiment:
The astronauts Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin left mirrors on the Moon(July 21 1969). The reason for this was to conduct an experiment (which is still ongoing) to measure the distance from Earth to Moon with lasers.

| Comparison:
If the diameter of the Sun was the size of an average man, then Jupiter will be about the size of his head. The Earth would be a little bit bigger that the iris of his eye.

Space
| Brightness:
One square meter of the Sun's surface shines as bright as 600,000 100 W light bulbs.

| Space
| Cosmic year:
It takes 240 million years for the Sun to make one full rotation in its orbit. This is called a cosmic year.
